Origin
The Succulent Mini Mix is a varied collection of plants from the succulent family, originally from dry areas in Africa, Central America, and the deserts of South America, among others. Succulents are adapted to these tough conditions and store water in their leaves, stems, and roots, allowing them to survive extended periods of drought.
Characteristics
The Succulent Mini Mix is made up of various succulent species, all characterised by their fleshy, thick leaves and stems in which they store water. The colour, shape, and size vary significantly between the different species in the mix, creating a diverse and interesting appearance. Despite their diverse appearances, these plants share the ability to efficiently store water and resist dry environments.
Care
The care for the Succulent Mini Mix is relatively simple. They require little water, and almost none during the summer months. Too much water can lead to root rot and is therefore discouraged. The plants prefer a sunny location, but can also survive in a slightly shady spot. Although they tolerate heat and drought well, they are not resistant to severe frost, so it is recommended to bring them indoors in freezing temperatures.
