The Aeonium 'Sunrise' is a succulent belonging to the Crassulaceae family. This species, also known as Aeonium decorum 'Sunrise', originates from the Canary Islands, a volcanic archipelago located in the Atlantic Ocean.
Characteristics
Aeonium 'Sunrise' is a summer bloomer and stands out with its rose-shaped rosettes with yellow-green and pink leaves. The plant can grow up to about 60 centimeters high and produces elegant white flowers during its blooming period. The leaves are light-sensitive and change colour in response to different light levels.
Care
As a Mediterranean plant, the Aeonium 'Sunrise' prefers a sunny location and permeable soil. This succulent requires little water, but it is advisable to spray regularly during dry periods. Frost is not well tolerated, therefore in colder climates the plant should be brought inside after the summer.
