Origin
The Begonia rex 'Spirit Of Kwale' is a houseplant that originates from tropical Asia, mainly in the Eastern Himalayas and West Indies. The plant is named after its discovery place in Kenya, Kwale. The Begoniaceae, the family to which the Begonia rex belongs, is one of the largest plant families with about 1500 species.
