Origin
Abelia grandiflora 'Sherwood' is a cultivar of the hybrid Abelia x grandiflora. This hybrid arose from a cross between Abelia chinensis and Abelia uniflora. The origin of this species lies in East Asia, with China and Japan as its main distribution areas. The 'Sherwood' cultivar was selected for its ornamental characteristics and compact growth habit.

Characteristics
Abelia grandiflora 'Sherwood' is a semi-evergreen ornamental shrub with a compact growth. The leaves are glossy, dark green, and oval in shape. During summer and early autumn, small, bell-shaped, light pink flowers appear in clusters. The shrub can reach a height of around 1 to 1.5 metres. Care
