Origin
The Sansevieria aubrytiana 4/tray, also known as the Mother-in-law's Tongue, is a unique indoor plant originally from West Africa. This plant species is named after the French botanist Dominique Aubry, who has played a significant role in Sansevieria research.

Characteristics
The Sansevieria aubrytiana has a striking appearance with thick, leathery leaves that grow upright from the base. The two to four leaves per bulb resemble a fan shape. They have a dark green colour with light, horizontal stripes. The plant height, including the pot, is about 20 to 30 centimetres.

Care
The care of the Sansevieria aubrytiana is quite simple, making it a popular choice for both beginner and experienced plant enthusiasts. The plant requires little water and thrives in low to moderate light, though it can also survive in bright, indirect light. Overwatering should be avoided, however, as this can lead to root rot. A monthly feed with specific, water-soluble plant fertiliser is recommended.
