Origin
The Sansevieria Silver Princess, also known as the silver snake plant, has its origin in West Africa. This specific type belongs to the large family of the Asparagaceae and is a succulent species. The plant naturally survives in dry, rocky environments where it is resistant to extreme drought.
Characteristics
The Sansevieria Silver Princess is characterised by the silvery ends of its long, pointed leaves. These leaves are strong and fleshy, which is typical for succulents. The leaves stand vertically, grow upright and reach a height of about 50 to 70 cm. They are elongated in shape and have a striped, green and silver pattern.
Care
The care of the Sansevieria Silver Princess is relatively straightforward due to its succulent properties. The plant needs little water and tolerates a variety of light conditions, but prefers indirect sunlight. It is not necessary to fertilise the plant regularly, once a year is usually sufficient. The plant is best kept at room temperature, but is also resistant to lower temperatures.
