Origin
The Sansevieria Artistic originally comes from West Africa, specifically Nigeria and Congo. It is part of the Asparagaceae family. Over time, it has spread all over the world and can now be found in many living rooms.

Characteristics
The Sansevieria Artistic is an attractive indoor plant with unique leaves. It is characterized by its stiff, upright leaves that grow in a rosette form. The green of the leaves is outlined with a striking yellow edge. The leaves are extremely robust and have a waxy cuticle, often considered nearly indestructible.

Care
In terms of the required care, the Sansevieria Artistic is relatively easy to maintain. It requires little water and can therefore survive in slightly drier conditions. The plant prefers a light to semi-shady location, but can also grow in a darker corner. It is resistant to temperature fluctuations, but does dislike temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. Repotting is typically only necessary every two to three years.
