Origin
The Sansevieria Tough Guy originates from West Africa. The plant naturally grows in dry, rocky regions. Sansevieria is a genus in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). This species is adapted to arid conditions thanks to its thick leaves.
Characteristics
The Sansevieria Tough Guy has stiff, upright leaves. The leaves are dark green with a firm texture, and can reach a height of approximately 60 centimetres. This slow-growing plant is suitable as a pot plant. The leaves have a pointed tip and retain their shape well.
Care
The Sansevieria Tough Guy requires little water. The plant grows best in a light position, but also tolerates shade. Regular repotting is not necessary due to its slow growth rate. Moderate room temperatures are sufficient for healthy development. Over-fertilising is not recommended for this plant.
