Origin
The Scindapsus (Epipremnum) 'Aureum' 12/tray, also known as Golden Pothos, originates from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia. The plant is particularly prevalent on the Solomon Islands, an archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. In its natural habitat, the plant grows in moist, shady forest areas. The plant is very well adapted to the climate in these parts of the world.

Characteristics
The Scindapsus 'Aureum' has large, heart-shaped leaves that are characteristic of the Araceae family. The leaves have a glossy surface and display a pattern that shows variations of green, yellow and white, making it a prominent presence in any room. The plant rarely produces flowers in an indoor environment. It is a climber and in its original habitat could grow up to a height of 20 metres.

Care
The care of the Scindapsus 'Aureum' is relatively straightforward. A great advantage is that it thrives under artificial light, making it very suitable for offices.
