Origin
Strelitzia nicolai is a plant species native to South Africa. It mainly grows in coastal forests and riverine areas there. Its natural distribution lies along the east coast of South Africa and parts of Mozambique. In its natural habitat, the plant can grow into a small tree.

Characteristics
Strelitzia nicolai can reach an indoor height of 220 to 260 cm. The leaves are large, oval, and dark green with a striking sheen. Given enough space, multiple trunks may develop, with the leaves fanning out attractively. The plant is known for its robust and decorative appearance.

Care
Strelitzia nicolai thrives best in a bright spot with plenty of indirect sunlight. The plant prefers well-draining, slightly moist potting soil. Regular watering is necessary, but the roots should not remain wet for a prolonged period. The temperature should not drop below 10°C.
