Care
Despite its tropical background, the Strelitzia Nicolai is a relatively easy plant to care for. It prefers a sunny location, but can also tolerate partial shade. Apart from in the summer, the plant doesn’t require much water; excessive moisture can cause root rot. The plant is not hardy and needs protection against frost and cold. When kept indoors, the plant can bloom all year round.
