Aglaonema ‘Britt’ 6/tray
Tuft
4AGBRBU17
Origin
The Aglaonema Lipstick Pink originates from the humid, shady rainforests of Southeast Asia. This plant family has more than 20 species, which generally occur in areas such as the Philippines and Southern China.
Characteristics
The Aglaonema Lipstick Pink is valued for its colourful leaves, which contain a combination of pink hues and darker, almost black, green. This is where it gets its popular nickname, the 'Lipstick Plant'. The leaves are elongated and have a pointed shape, while they are attached to the plant via a short trunk. They can reach a length of about 30 centimetres.
Care
The Aglaonema Lipstick Pink is relatively easy to take care of and is therefore a beloved houseplant. It enjoys a location with indirect light and can even survive in rooms with low light. The plant needs moderate watering, usually no more than once a week, and it's important to avoid soaking the soil, to prevent root rot. In general, they can handle both high and low humidity well, but regularly spraying with water can be useful to remove dust and increase the survival chances in a dry environment.
