Origin
The Stephanotis floribunda 7-8, also known as the Madagascar Jasmine, has its origins in Madagascar. The plant grows in the wilderness, where the warm and humid climate provides the ideal conditions for development.
Characteristics
Stephanotis floribunda is known for its star-shaped, white flowers which emit a sweet, pleasant scent. The plant has glossy, dark green leaves and develops numerous flowers when in full bloom. The flowering often begins in the spring and can continue into the summer. The plant can grow as tall as two meters, depending on its care and environment.
Care
The Stephanotis floribunda 7-8 prefers a warm, bright environment, however, direct sunlight can damage the leaves. It's also important to keep the soil evenly moist, but waterlogging should be avoided. The watering schedule should be reduced in the winter months. The optimal temperature for growth is between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. Regular fertilisation can further promote the growth and flowering of the plant.
