Juniperus chinensis

Origin
The Heuchera sanguinea 'Coral Forest', known as coral bells, is a perennial plant of American origin. They are mainly indigenous species from the Rocky Mountains and other areas in North America. The 'Coral Forest' has been developed and cultivated for its special characteristics that differentiate it from its counterparts and has a growing popularity among gardeners and landscape architects.
Characteristics
The 'Coral Forest' distinguishes itself by its remarkable foliage and subtly coloured flowers. The leaves are heart-shaped and deep green, often marbled with silver shades. The flowers, which appear from late spring to early summer, are small, bell-shaped and conspicuously bright coral in colour. The plant grows to about 40 to 45 cm high and is good for attracting butterflies and bees.
Care
Caring for the Heuchera sanguinea 'Coral Forest' requires well-drained but moist soil and a site that is partly in the shade or in full sun. Although they are drought-resistant for short periods, they will perform better with regular watering, especially during dry periods. An annual layer of compost or mulch will enrich the soil, while a good winter mulch in colder climates improves survival during winter. Prune the plant after bloom to allow for a compact shape and new blooming.
