Origin
The Panicum virgatum 'Sangria' is a variant of the Panicum virgatum, also known as Switch Grass. The plant is native to North America and originally found on grasslands and at the side of the road. Through selective breeding, different variants have been created, including the 'Sangria'.

Characteristics
