Euonymus japonicus 'Aurea'
Bush

Origin
The Mandevilla (Dipladenia) sanderi Summerstar Pink finds its origin in Central and South America. This exotic plant belongs to the family of the periwinkles (Apocynaceae). The botanical name of this plant refers to the British horticulturist Henry Frederick Conrad Sander, who introduced her to Europe in the early 20th century.
Characteristics
The Mandevilla Summerstar Pink is characterised by its powerful, climbing growth habit and its abundant floral display. The flowers, which continue to develop throughout the summer, are trumpet-shaped and have a striking pink colour. The glossy green leaves form a beautiful contrast with the brightly coloured flowers. The plant can reach a height of up to 2 metres, making her ideal for planting against a wall, pergola or climbing frame.
Care
For the care of the Mandevilla Summerstar Pink, it is important to place the plant in a light, but not fully sunny, location. The plant has few demands on the soil, as long as it is well-drained. It is recommended to fertilise the plant bi-weekly during the growing season and to regularly provide water, but be careful with overwatering. In winter, the plant cannot withstand frost and should be brought indoors.
