Origin
The Yucca rostrata, also known as the Beaked Yucca, originates from northeast Mexico. This plant can be found in the dry, desert-like areas of Texas and Mexico where it has adapted to extreme conditions over the centuries.

Characteristics
The Yucca rostrata is an evergreen plant that can grow up to five metres in height. It has a prominent tall trunk topped with a spherical leaf canopy. The leaves of this plant are thin, stiff and sharp at the tips. This species is also characterized by its large, impressive flowers deep in the summer, forming white, bell-shaped flowers in long, upright clusters.

Care
The Yucca rostrata has a low need for water and copes well with drought, making it ideal for a dry climate. In winter, care should be taken to ensure the soil is well-draining to prevent root rot. This plant prefers full sun and well-draining soil. Despite its robustness, it may be necessary to protect this plant from heavy frost.
