Origin
The Sansevieria Aubrytiana mix is a species of plant that originates from West Africa. The plant is named after the Italian scientist Raimondo di Sangro, Prince of San Severo. It is also known as the snake plant.
Characteristics
The Sansevieria Aubrytiana mix is a succulent. It is identified by its long, pointed leaves that grow upright. The leaves are thick, dark green, and have light green, horizontal stripes. They can achieve a height of 70 to 90 centimetres. The plant rarely flowers, but when it does, it produces sweet smelling, green flowers.
Care
The Sansevieria Aubrytiana mix is an easy-to-care-for plant. It needs a lot of light, but can also tolerate semi-shade and even artificial light. It only needs occasional watering, when the soil is completely dry. In the winter months, it requires less water. The plant prefers temperatures between 15 and 23 degrees Celsius. Avoid sudden temperature swings. Like all Sansevieria species, it requires well-drained soil to prevent root rot.
