The Monstera is very popular because of its large green leaves with distinctive holes and is native to the tropical rainforests of South America. Most of them are true climbers that use their long tendrils to climb up other trees or rocks. The Monstera Obliqua is also called the Monstera Monkey Mask, because of the holes in the leaves. This Monstera does well in a light spot as well as in a shadow place. It’s better to avoid direct sunlight.

This plant display is made up with a pot plant, filled with Vulkastrat and is equipped with a waterlevel indicator. Vulkastrat absorbs more water than regular soil and releases it gradually to the roots. Vulkastrat cannot shrink shut due to its coarse structure, which keeps the soil more airy and allows the roots to absorb enough oxygen.
