Origin
The Bromelia Royal Green mix originates from the tropical regions of America. The plant is part of the Bromeliaceae family, a diverse group of around 3475 species. The Bromelia genus is named after the Swedish physician and botanist Olaf Bromelius.

Characteristics
The Bromelia Royal Green mix is characterised by its wide, green leaves and striking flowers. The colours range from red and orange to purple and white. The plant can grow up to 60 centimetres high and usually blooms once every four years. This makes the Bromelia a long-flowering houseplant.

Care
The Bromelia Royal Green mix requires little water, making it an easy houseplant to care for. The plant prefers a sunny spot, but direct sunlight should be avoided. The ideal room temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. During the flowering period, the Bromelia can be watered slightly more often, but it is important to allow the soil to dry out between watering periods to prevent root rot.
