Origin
The Hoya Kerrii Splash originates in Asia, specifically in Thailand and China. There are strong indications that this unique plant species also occurs in the wild in countries such as Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. The plant is named after the English botanist Arthur Francis George Kerr, who dedicated a large part of his career to the study of Asian flora.

Characterised by her heart-shaped leaves, the Hoya Kerrii Splash is a beloved house plant. The leaves have a deep green colour, with irregular light spots - hence the addition 'Splash' in the name. This succulent climbing plant belongs to the family of the Apocynaceae, also known as the Dogbane family. With proper care, it produces beautiful flowers with a flagrant, sweet smell.
