Aglaonema 'Osaka Green' 6/tray
Tuft
4AGOGBP12
Origin
The Dracaena surculosa 'Florida Beauty', also known as the gold dust dracaena, originally comes from West Africa. It was cultivated in these regions because of the striking colours and patterns of the leaves. All over the world, this plant is appreciated for its aesthetic appeal and ease of maintenance.
Characteristics
The Dracaena surculosa 'Florida Beauty' has glossy, elliptical-oval leaves that are variegated. The leaves have a dark green colour with pale yellow to cream-white spots and stripes. The plant grows upright and can reach a height of up to two metres. In many cases, it stays smaller, for example, when it is cultivated indoors.
Care
Despite its tropical origin, the Dracaena surculosa 'Florida Beauty' is fairly easy to maintain. It needs moderate watering, but does not want to sit in water, so it will do well in well-drained soil. It prefers bright, indirect light, but is tolerant of lower light levels. This plant needs little feeding and does best at normal room temperatures. During the winter period, it is recommended to reduce the water supply.
