Origin
The Crassula Coral, also known as Crassula Perforata, originates from South Africa. It is a type of succulent, which means that the plant is well adapted to dry conditions. This is due to the fact that South Africa is a region with a very diverse climate.
Characteristics
The Crassula Coral is a striking plant, with its thick, fleshy leaves that grow in opposite pairs along the stem. The leaves have a grey-green base colour with red edges, giving the plant a graceful appearance. This plant also has the capacity to grow to a height of 12 to 18 inches. The plant produces small, white flowers in spring.
Care
The Crassula Coral prefers full sun to semi-shade and requires well-draining soil. The plant can survive for long periods without water thanks to the water storage in its leaves, but regular, moderate watering is recommended. During the winter months, it is advisable to limit watering. The plant is frost-sensitive, so it is recommended to keep it indoors during the coldest months.
