Origin
The Elaeagnus ebbingei, also known as the silverberry, is a plant species that is originally from Asia. This plant is named after the Dutch botanist Albert Ebbingei. The plant was introduced to Western Europe in the 20th century and has since become a common garden plant in various regions.

Characteristics
The Elaeagnus ebbingei is an evergreen shrub that can grow up to four meters high. The leaves are shiny green on top and silvery on the bottom.
