Origin
The Sedum Tornado, often referred to as 'Stonecrop', is originally found in the northern hemispheres, mainly in regions with a temperate climate. It is highly likely that the growth of this plant began in Asia, spreading further to North America and Europe.
Characteristics
The Sedum Tornado stands out due to its thick, fleshy and typically round leaves. These light-green leaves give it a characteristic appearance and also have a high water storage capacity. The plant often produces beautiful, small flowers in the summer period, which vary from red and yellow to white. The Sedum Tornado usually grows to a height of about 30 centimetres and becomes 60 centimetres wide.
Care
Caring for the Sedum Tornado is relatively simple. The plant prefers full sun or partial shade and requires well-drained soil. Due to its tolerant character towards drought, you only need to water the plant moderately and not again until the surface soil is dry. It is important to know that the Sedum Tornado is frost-resistant, but always remove dead leaves to maintain the overall health of the plant.
