Origin
The Cordyline Glauca, also known as the Palm Lily, has its origins in the vast regions of Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia and Southeast Asia. This plant is a prominent species in the Asparagaceae family and is often found in subtropical environments. It is accustomed to the warmer climates, making it highly suitable for indoor cultivation in many different countries worldwide.

Characteristics
The Cordyline Glauca is an evergreen, upright plant that can reach a height of approximately 3 metres. This species bears long, narrow leaves that are green in colour, and often slightly curled. In the flowering period, the plant produces small white flowers, which later in the season transition into red berries. The roots of the plant are sturdy and extensive, enabling the plant to grow in various types of soil.

Care
To care for the Cordyline Glauca properly, it is important to place the plant in a well-draining soil. Ensure a location where the plant gets enough indirect sunlight throughout the day. Although the plant is resilient to various conditions, it prefers temperatures between 15 and 27 degrees Celsius. During the growing period, which generally falls between spring and autumn, it is recommended to water the plant regularly. In the winter, it is advisable to reduce the watering.
