Origin
The Haworthia royal albert is a species of the Aloe family, originally from South Africa, specifically the subtropical area of the Eastern Cape region. It is named after Prince Albert of Saxony, husband of Queen Victoria, in recognition of his contributions to botanical science.

Characteristics
The Haworthia royal albert is a small succulent, meaning it is a plant that can survive in dry conditions. The plant has green, succulent leaves that thicken at the base and thin out towards the top. The leaves form a spiral pattern and end in a sharp point. The Haworthia royal albert also produces small, delicate flowers in white on a long stem.

Care
The Haworthia royal albert is an easy-to-care-for plant, which performs well in both indoor and outdoor conditions. It has a light to partial shade requirement for light and needs well-draining soil to prevent the roots from sitting in water. Water should only be given when the soil is completely dry. The plant can overwinter at room temperature. It is recommended not to give the plant fertiliser in the winter.
