Origin
The Philodendron 'Campii' is a tropical plant species hailing from Central and South America. It is one of many variants within the Philodendron genus. This genus is part of the Araceae family, better known as the arum family. The plant is named after Camp, a botanist who conducted extensive research on tropical plants.

Characteristics
The Philodendron 'Campii' is characterised by its heart-shaped, dark green leaves with a glossy top layer. The plant can grow to be a medium-sized species, often reaching around a metre high in domestic settings. Its stems are long and graceful with leaves spread out along their length. In its natural habitat, the plant blooms with white flowers surrounded by a green bract, but domestically it rarely blossoms.

Caring for a Philodendron 'Campii' requires a warm and slightly humid climate. The plant thrives best under indirect sunlight and temperatures between 60 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. It is crucial to keep the potting soil evenly moist while avoiding situations where the plant stands in stagnant water, as this can lead to root rot. It is recommended to lightly fertilise the plant every two weeks with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser to ensure optimal growth.
