Origin
The Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light', also known as Chinese Silver Grass, has its origin in East Asia. It naturally grows predominantly in China, Japan and Korea. The plant falls under the Miscanthus genus, a group of about 20 species of lush, ornamental grasses. The 'Morning Light' variant is specifically bred for its unique characteristics and aesthetic appeal.

Characteristics
Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light' is characterised by its delicate and graceful appearance. The plant can grow to a height of 1.5 to 2 meters and has long, narrow leaves with white edges and a white central vein. This feature gives the plant a silvery appearance, hence the nickname 'Chinese Silver Grass'. This grass type produces plume-like inflorescences in the late summer and autumn that vary in colour from silver to pink.

Care
