Acer pal. 'Linearilobum' (120-160)
Branched

Origin
The Euonymus alatus, also known as the winged spindle, is a native inhabitant of East Asia. This plant is common in China, Japan, Korea and the far eastern parts of Russia. The plant was introduced to America in the 19th century and has since also become established in Europe.
Characteristics
The Euonymus alatus is a compact, slow-growing shrub that can grow to a height of 1 to 2.5 meters. The leaves are typically green and change to a deep ruby red in the autumn, making this plant a popular choice for colourful landscaping. The plant is known for its striking, cork-like 'wings' that grow on the branches and the deep purple fruits that appear in the autumn.
Care
The Euonymus alatus requires little care and is tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions. The plant thrives best in well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. It is a drought-tolerant species with moderate to low water requirements. The plant does not need much pruning, unless to manage the shape or size. However, regular pruning does promote the cork-like 'wings' on the branches of the plant.
