Origin
The Yucca rostrata, also known as Beaked Yucca, is a plant species that originates from the northeast of Mexico and the west of Texas. These regions are characterised by their dry, rocky desert conditions, which the plant has adapted to be very drought-resistant. This means the Yucca rostrata is particularly well suited to dry, sun-drenched gardens and rocky soils.

Characteristics
The Yucca rostrata distinguishes itself with its tall, slim trunk and its crown of long, narrow leaves. It is a rather large plant species, potentially growing up to a height of 4.5 meters. The leaves are blue-grey and can grow up to 60 centimeters in length. The plant boasts beautiful whitish flowers, which typically bloom in late spring or early summer.
