Hanging plants are beautiful, trendy and fit perfectly in smaller rooms with little space for greenery. Hanging plants are also recommended in large spaces because they have an acoustic effect, which is very pleasant in offices and public places. In this article we will highlight a number of beautiful varieties.
Syngonium
The Syngonium is originally a real climbing plant from the tropical rainforests of Costa Rica. The plant has special arrow-shaped leaves and unique leaf markings. The Syngonium is easy to care for and can be placed in a sunny or shady spot. However, it should be borne in mind that variegated varieties, such as the Syngonium neon and arrow, require more light than green-leaved varieties. In addition, these plants can withstand dry air quite well and, despite being small in size, they are particularly air-purifying.

Monstera obliqua
Choose the Monstera obliqua, or Monstera monkey mask, if you are looking for a striking green hanging plant. This special plant originates from Mexico and is currently very popular because of its special leaves with holes. Monstera obliqua is easy to care for and prefers a light location, but does not like direct sunlight. The Monstera will also do well in a darker room, but the plant will grow a little less quickly.

Scindapsus
The Scindapsus (Epipremnum) comes from the tropical jungles of Southeast Asia. Because the plant grows there under the shade of large trees, it prefers a place in the shade or partial shade. The Scindapsus is a fast grower and has many varieties, including the aurum, n'joy, marble queen and pictus. Like most hanging plants, the Epipremnum is undemanding and easy to care for.

Philodendron scandens
The Philodendron belongs to the arum family (Araceae). This plant originates from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. This is again a very easy plant that does best in a light place or in partial shade. The beautiful heart-shaped leaves and the air-purifying effect make it a very popular plant for the office.
