Overwhelmed by the power of nature
Climate change is a hot topic that increasingly impacts people's daily lives and business operations. The realization that we all play a vital role in preserving nature is becoming more evident. This realization takes centre stage in the green industry trend for 2023: 'Ode to Nature.' It is expressed through a strong emphasis on lush plants and natural materials.
Plants with erratic shapes raise awareness of how plants grow in their natural environment. This concept can be applied to interiors by accentuating plants such as Dicksonia antarctica and Monstera. The Dicksonia highlights the unpredictability and vulnerability of nature through its uniquely growing, beautiful leaves. The torn leaves of the Monstera also align perfectly with the Ode to Nature trend.
Erratic shapes and eco-friendly materials
In the Ode to Nature trend, nature plays the most significant role. The interior shapes and decorations with plants and containers are organic and irregular. Clean, angular shapes are absent, giving way to round and naturally appearing forms.
